Your Instructor
Cliff note version of me; grew up on a farm, have two loving (in their unique way) dysfunctional parents who – thankfully – divorced when I was 12, my dad was taken away in a police car, and we lived in a domestic violence shelter. Was strongly encouraged to attend church growing up, one of those you will do X while living under my roof. Left my home state as soon as I could – did a 14-year self-seeking, enjoying life, have to stay a plane ride away from my parents – journey on the east coast. Found myself back in my home state and then in the great state of TX! Texas is where I found myself; where my self-seeking journey ended and figured out my real self started to happen. Becoming comfortable in my own skin, starting my own business, hitting rock bottom personally, and discovering the loving Jesus I never knew.
Now I have mentioned God, Jesus, and church – don’t worry I am not here to judge or preach to anyone {I appreciate the same being reciprocated}. I just want to share how my life has gone from worry, sadness, fear of abandonment, etc. to feelings of joy, peace, being able to get married, etc.
